Nazca or Nasca, ancient indigenous culture of S internal linkPeru, fl. before A.D. 1000. The Nazca are known for their polychrome pottery and skillful weaving and dyeing. Aerial exploration of the arid tableland surrounding their valley has revealed a internal linknetwork of lines interspersed with giant animal forms-probably related to Nazca astronomy and religion.

The plain of Nazca is located 450 kilometers south of Lima on the edge of the Andes in Peru. It is a dry and hot  area. Both desert and mountains are covered with thousands of straight lines for miles at a internal linktime. The longest line is internal link23 kilometers long and stretches straight as an arrow over valleys and mountains. Between and over the narrow lines can be found airstrip-like plains which pilots of today endearingly call "the E.T.-airport."

Between the lines and "airstrips" and also on the mountain slopes there are vast ground markings, not only of  animals and human beings but also of mysterious geometric arrangements. All these things are so huge, that they can only be detected from the air.
